Georgetown, Texas-"The festivities began at 11:00 a.m. over 80 arts and crafts booths, food vendors, and the Kid's area will open. Musical entertainment, featuring some of the best local and central Texas talent, will begin at the Gazebo at 11:00 a.m. and continue all day. A “Hometown Parade”, sponsored by the Leadership Georgetown Alumni, will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the park. Children will have opportunities for games, activities, petting zoo, train rides and face painting in the Children's Area. The “Fabulous Fireworks Finale” began at dark. " SERTOMA Club of Georgetown, a 501c(3) organization, is dedicated to preserving and celebrating our national heritage. SERTOMA holds the Annual Fourth of July Family Picnic in San Gabriel Park for the past 24 years. We erect American flags around the Square and in front of Georgetown businesses every national holiday. Sertoma means Service to Mankind. Our club is dedicated to helping people in our community. Taylor, Texas fireworks were on the fourth of July in Murphy Park. Click to find information on Murphy Park. Cimmaron Hill Country Club fireworks were held on the 2nd of July at the country club house over looking 18th hole. |
Sertoma's primary service project is assisting the people of Williamson county with speech, hearing and language disorders. Sertoma also sponsors community projects to promote freedom and democracy, to assist youth and to benefit a variety of other local community needs." |
